Blogging from the Colonies

November 21st, 2008

Here in the Common Wealth of Virgina the week, and let me tell you, traffic is a nightmare in the Ol Colony once you get here. It takes about 13 or so hours to get Fairfax from Peoria. On the way here thought I was gonna have to put on my snow shoes. Snowed like a bitch. But down in the Valley, it’s much better.

Gonna hike in the Shenandoah National Park this weekend. There is a tough hike up a 3,200ft Mountain called “Old Rag Mountain”. It has some of the best views around. I am going to be doing a live trail report on thebackpacker.tv (testing some GPS stuff). Saturday morning (Nov, 22) at 9:00 am I will start reporting live on the Mountain…I think…I hope. There was a Bear sighting just last week on that same trail. YIKES!!!

Anywhoo, it’s cool to be here. Very close to Washington D.C so I may just get in there and help Congress out. HA! OR, get escorted out of Congress for being a security risk, could go either way. Soooo, hello all my hundreds, 3 people that read my blog site.

Small World! I have been to where you are or where you were! Its beautiful there and I hope you had a great time. Remember you can always kill a bear with a pencil if need be. Hey if Anthony Hopkins can do why can’t you? ; )

Hey, that Bear killed it’s trainer. See Scott Run, See Scott poop his pants if encountered by a Bear.

For reals?? Well then never mind…ditch the pen and run like hell. :)
