In Today’s Luciano piece, Phil examines a simple “What the hell is going on with the Peoria Police”? I guess if you have a “Higher Power” and you hang a simple cross on your review mirror in you car, the PPD will not tolertate that bad behavior.
Just the other day someone told me about a black Escalante SUV driving down the street with a bunch of kids in the back seat not buckled up, and were haning out the back door. Dad, who was blarring music so loud, didn’t even notice the kids opening the car door. I can see huge dice, or a reflective CD hanging from the review mirror. I can see someone perhaps who is drinking a can of beer, or having a cocktail while driving. I would even imagine that someone who is trying to txt and drive at the same time might get a warning. All these examples should be pulled over. But to get a ticket because you have a small cross hanging from your review mirror because you belive in God?
Hey folks, these are our tax dollars once again going to fight the good fight bad fight.
Meanwhile in the East Bluff, crack heads who watched the whole incident and thought “Pheww” good thing that Bible Thumper created a nice diversion for us, while we BUY CRACK”, held a prayer vigual for the driver. They were arrested later for…praying.
