What a bla.st promoting your blog
February 24th, 2007
Always looking for ways to promote your blog?
Here’s a venture from New Zealand that is literally a BLA.ST!
Tim Bromhead of Pear Software in Hamilton, New Zealand has launched bla.st — a free business card-sized notice or advertisment you can use to promote your site.
Site developer Bromhead says “As far as we know, bla.st is the first online visual advertising directory of its kind, anywhere in the world.”
bla.st can be used like a business directory. Any commercial or non-commercial organisation can place cards on bla.st, with a link to their existing website. Although your card is free, you have the option to pay to have your card placed at the front of categories. Right now, if you link to bla.st or post a blog entry about the site, you can get a free upgrade.
Read my weblog post for more info on this website.
Here’s my business card I placed on bla.st.
Click on the card and you’ll see what my card information on bla.st looks like.
