Bozo Circus Is On The Air
December 25th, 2006
For those who were lucky enough to grow up watching Bozo Circus, I can only tell you that when I watched a Tribute to Bozo on WGN News on Christmas Day, it brought back a ton of memories. For someone who grew up in Chicago, not to far away from where they aired Bozo, it was really cool to watch this show. Yes, I traditionally watch “A Christmas Story”, but today, it was like going back to my youth, and living a “Christmas Story”.

A look back at three of WGN’s most beloved television series, “Bozo’s Circus,” “Garfield Goose and Friends” and “Ray Rayner and His Friends.” The classic TV trilogy starred Chicago television legends Bob Bell, Frazier Thomas, Ray Rayner, Roy Brown and Ned Locke among others. 1950s holiday favorites “Hardrock, Coco and Joe,” “Suzy Snowflake” and “Frosty the Snowman” are also featured.
If you ever watched Bozo, then you will certainly appreciate this vid. Can you guess who all of the Bozo Circus Alumni are? This is the first and last time they were all together. If you can guess who the original Bozo was (and don’t look it up), I have a Gift Certificate to Friar Tucks.
