To Mr. Manning

Just an update on my conversation with Councilman Bob Manning on my visit to City Hall last week. Mr Manning did call me back after I had already wrote about my visit downtown. Mr. Manning was all to aware of the Ordinance that violates Non-Owner Occupied Residential Properties, and indicated that they were working to change some things in the Zonning Department. All in all, it was a very curtious, and productive conversation. We also discussed the Illinois Property, and the violations that Code Enforcement seemed very excited about. He also indicated that he did in fact drive by the property and it looked good.
On a side note: I apoligize for not updating this as soon as Mr. Manning called me. I left an impression to Mr. Manning, that he did not call me, and he did withinn 24 hours of my call to him. He left a message on my phone last night indicating he had read my blog and felt perhaps I should update. I am reminded of a quote:
“With great power, comes great responsibility”.
