Not So Grand Anymore…

R.I.P Mr. Grandview Hotel. Today was one of joyful, happy jubilation as it was reported that the Grandview Hotel is being demolished. I can’t tell you how relieved we are that live across the street from that over sized Crack House.
The Journal Star Reported: Junction Ventures LLC, which bought the beleaguered hotel as part of its plans to renovate Junction City shopping center, plans to tear down the Grandview this summer, said Alexis Khazzam, president of Junction Ventures. A new hotel or another commercial structure will replace it.
Khazzam and his Junction Ventures partner Barry Cain announced acquisition of Junction City in January, with plans for a multi-million dollar renovation of the center, new tenants and family activities. Renovations have started.
In fact, Khazzam figures some in the neighborhood will be happy to take him up on an offer he’ll make once the demolition date is set. For a $500 gift to charities that will be designated later, a person will be able to take a swing at the Grandview with a bulldozer.
What? Where, and who do I make the check out to?
This is long overdue for the people that live in the surrounding neighborhood. I have delt with alot of malicious people who only want to inflict property damage or pain. None of them which were “just walking down the street”
