Area Business Connection a Bust

This weeks Area Business Connection to say the least was…..”yawn”, boring. The annual event held at the Civic Center is where local area businesses do the “meet and greet” of people and other area business owners to show off what they do.
Yea, it was the same people 5 years ago when I use to be involved in putting together a booth for the Internet Company. The same people are still there, only less of what we really need to see.
The same 3 Local ISP’s, the same 5 banks, the same graphics people, the same, the same, the same. My question is: Are there any new start ups in this town? Any new and exciting companies that would like to show off what they do? Area Business Connection my ass. It’s the same damn faces getting drunk durring the Chambers Happy Hour.
I think we need to rename the show by calling it: The Area Business Reunion.
